Telur Yang Dipertaruhkan

Ada seorang pak cik yang bernama Pak DI yang sangat kaya. Setiap hari beliau akan menyimpan RM1000 di bank. Setiap hari tepat pukul 9 pagi Pak DI dah pun bersiap sedia terpacak di kuanter bank untuk menympan RM1000nya. Setelah lebih kurang setahun berlalu, kehadirannya setiap hari disedari oleh Manager Bank. Manager Bank itu pun memanggilnya ke office dan bertanya:


Manager: Setiap hari saya lihat pak cik akan menympan RM1000 di bank. Apa kerja pak cik?
Pak DI: Saya ni sebenarnya tak de kerja encik. Cuma saya suka bertaruh. Setiap hari saya akan bertaruh dan saya tak pernah kalah.
Manager: Ooo... ini sudah cukup bagus. Tapi pak cik mungkin belum bertemu dengan orang yang teror macam saya ni. Kalau pak cik bertaruh dengan saya jangan haraplah nak menang.
Pak DI: Iye ke? Kalau macam tu jom kita bertaruh.
Manager: Okay. Sebutkan apa saja pak cik nak bertaruh dengan saya.
Pak DI: Macam ni.... dalam tempoh 7 hari dari sekarang encik akan kehilangan telur encik. Kalau betul encik akan hilang RM1000, kalau tak saya akan bayar encik RM1000.
Manager: Hahaha.. tak logiklah pak cik. Tapi tak pe... saya setuju. Setelah kedua-duanya setuju mereka pun beredar.


Besoknya bila bangun pagi Manager tu pun meraba telurnya.. ooh masih ada. Begitulah seterusnya hinggalah sampai ke hari yang ketujuh dia dapati telurnya masih lagi ada.. Dengan suka hatinya Manager tersebut pun pergilah berjumpa dengan Pak DI.

Farting at Tiffany's

A lady walks into Tiffany's. She looks around, spots a beautiful diamond bracelet and walks over to inspect it.


As she bends over to look more closely, she unexpectedly farts.


Very embarrassed, she looks around nervously to see if anyone noticed her little woops and prays that a salesperson was not anywhere near. As she turns around, her worst nightmare materializes in the form of a salesman standing right behind her.

abah. nak tau tak? khalid ingat lagi dulu2 setiap kali kita balik kampung temerloh, bila ada je peluang abah mesti cakap "khalid, jom pergi sungai. kita memancing". punya lah seronok khalid masa tu, xkisah dah pergi mana janji ada aktiviti boleh buat. abah ingat tak jugak, masa khalid amal & kamil kecik lagi, setiap minggu mesti pergi rumah wan/toki lepak kat sana. punya lah seronok sebab khalid boleh buat lagi banyak aktiviti, termasuklah aktiviti tak senonoh iaitu perhambat kambing sampai atas bukit bay route =) hahaha.. lepas tu singgah anak sungai tangkap ikan sebelum abah perhambat khalid pulak sampai telinga kena piat :p hahaha.. khalid ingat lagi masa darjah satu mula2 masuk sekolah, khalid tanya "abah, sekolah habis pukul berapa ek?" dan abah cakap "pukul 6. tunggu sini tau". abah pun terkenal dengan identiti 272 abah :) khalid pun takkan lupa yang setiap kali abah balik kerja setiap sabtu, mesti abah beli beberapa botol minuman yang dah pupus sekarang; susu lembu dengan pelbagai perasa untuk minum petang sekeluarga. abah pun ada beli macam2 barang yang takde jual kat kuantan setiap kali abah kena outstation. kalau tak silap khalid, masa rumah kita renovate & abah baru nak balik dari outstation, abah belikan video game. seronok tak terkira khalid cakap nak cuba time tu jugak walaupun jam dah pukul 2-3 pagi, tapi abah tak bagi :p hahaha... khalid pun takkan lupa yang abah selalu ajak khalid lepak dekat hsbc tempat abah kerja, sementara tunggu abah balik, khalid kat gym main angkat berat, walaupun khalid tahu tak larat nak angkat satu besi pun masa tu sebab kecik lagi :p haha.. khalid pun takkan lupa yang kejadian abah marah tahap gaban sebab khalid dah lenjan vespa abah sampai enjin problem, tapi abah tak pukul pun khalid :b ngeehehe..


dan yang paling khalid akan ingat, pergi dan balik tadika (bukit bayroute & kg jawa), sekolah rendah abdullah, sekolah rendah cenderawasih, sekolah menengah st thomas (form 1-3), masuk kolej, dan waktu pergi kerja; abah akan hantar/ambil khalid dengan vespa kesayangan abah yang umur vespa tu lebih tua dari khalid, tapi masih gagah ^_^ steady lah!

Torres Joined The Blues

After January transfer closed, a lot of unexpected results came out. One of the most controversial transfer was Fernando Torres from Liverpool to Chelsea. And now he's ready for Chelsea's Barclays Premier League clash with Liverpool on Sunday, and insisting he would have no qualms scoring against his former club. 

Fernando Torres fired a parting shot at Liverpool after joining Premier League rivals Chelsea in a British record £50 million deal by saying he was taking a big step forward in his career. We also would like to give a warm welcome to Ryo Miyaichi after completed his transfer to Arsenal. He's currently on loan at Feyenoord until end of the season.

Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year or the Chinese Lunar New Year is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays, which is also known as "Spring Festival". The festival begins on the first day of the first month in the traditional Chinese calendar and ends with Lantern Festival which is on the 15th day. Chinese New Year's Eve, a day where Chinese families gather for their annual reunion dinner, is known as Chú Xi (除夕) or "Eve of the Passing Year."

Federal Territory Day

The Federal Territory (Malay: Wilayah Persekutuan) is a collective of three territories: Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan, governed directly by the federal government of Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur is the national capital of Malaysia, Putrajaya is the administrative capital, and Labuan is an offshore international financial centre. Both Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya are enclaves in the state of Selangor, while Labuan is an island off coast of the state of Sabah.

Thaipusam Festival

Thaipusam celebrates the day Goddess Parvati bestowed upon her son the “vel” or lance to vanquish the evil demon, Soorapadam. This lance denotes spiritual insight, ability to differentiate right from wrong, righteousness and steadfastness. However, for many Hindus, Thaipusam has come to mean the birthday of Lord Subramaniam, also known as lord Muruga, the younger son of Lord Shiva.

Hindus celebrate Thaipusam on the tenth month of their calendar. It coincides with the full moon at the end of January and beginning of February 'Thai' is the Hindu month which falls between January 15 to February 15 and 'Pusam' refers to a star which is at its brightest during the period of this festival. In other words, in year 2011 the festival falls on January 20.

Celebrated in all parts of the world where there is a concentration of South Indians, the manifestation of the festival is best witnessed in Malaysia at Batu Caves (which is 10km from Kuala Lumpur) and Penang. The festivities cantered at Batu Caves is an exciting and thrilling spectacle.

May I Borrow RM25?

A woman came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find her 5-year old son waiting for her at the door.


SON: 'Mummy, may I ask you a question?'
MUM: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the woman.
SON: 'Mummy, how much do you make an hour?'
MUM: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the woman said angrily.
SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'
MUM: 'If you must know, I make RM50 an hour.'
SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.
SON: 'Mummy, may I please borrow RM25?'


The mother was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'


The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.


The woman sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?


After about an hour or so, the woman had calmed down, and started to think:


Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that RM25 and he really didn't ask for money very often . The woman went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.


'Are you asleep, son?' She asked.


'No Mummy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.


'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the woman. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the RM25 you asked for.'


The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you Mummy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.


The woman saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.


The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his mother.


'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the mother grumbled.


'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.


'Mummy, I have RM50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'


The mother was crushed. She put his arms around her little son, and she begged for his forgiveness.


It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that RM50 worth of your time with someone you love. 


If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

Anugerah Juara Lagu ke-25

Tahniah buat Ana Raffali selaku penyanyi untuk lagu Tolong Ingatkan Aku yang baru sahaja menjadi juara pada Anugerah Juara Lagu ke-25 (AJL25) malam semalam. 

Dengan kemenangan tersebut beliau telah berjaya membawa pulang hadiah berupa trofi dan wang tunai keseluruhan sebanyak RM35,000. Tolong Ingatkan Aku juga berjaya mengalahkan 13 buah lagu lain yang turut bertanding.

Manakala bagi lagu Drama King ciptaan Taja serta lirik oleh Tun Teja yang dinyanyikan oleh Black dan Meet Uncle Hussain dinobatkan sebagai naik juara dan membawa pulang hadiah trofi dan wang tunai RM15,000.

Tempat ketiga pula dimenangi oleh lagu Noktah Cinta ciptaan Ajai dan lirik oleh Sheikh Qalam nyanyian Hafiz, dan membawa pulang hadiah trofi dan wang tunai RM12,000.

Surfing Etiquette In The Water

Greetings.

Does anyone loves surfing? No! No!. Not that web-surfing you nerdo! :p hehehe.. The real meaning of surfing. Well, since my hometown is just nearby the beaches, I also got 'exposed' with various beach activities. I'm not a surfer but I do know a few surfers, and even my cousin is a surfer.

Today I found a good basic info about surfing etiquette on a blog and I like to share with you guys as listed below:

• If you are a beginner, stay at the lower section of the spot.
• Surfers dropping in - this really pissed everyone off. Don't ever do this as this is very dangerous!
• If you are not a strong paddler, paddle far out! Don't paddle direct to the point as you might be in the way of the surfers that is ridding the waves.
• Don't throw your board if a waves rolls on you. Your board might hit another surfer nearby.
• Pay RESPECT to local surfers! No matter how good or bad is your surfing skills, you can always afford a smile or a nod whenever you see a surfers.
• Know your surfing rules before you start surfing! Get a surf lessons!
• GUYS or GIRLS, get the right board! Don't listen to your friends if his surfing level is average only. Longboard is heavy and big to carry but for a beginner that is the best bet. You will have fun ridding the waves with it.
• We are very happy to introduce surfing and seeing surfing in Malaysia move to the next level. We are proud to share the waves but again, please learn your way up.
