It’s nice to be away, to be astray;
to feel alive again.
I’m half the world away, today’s the day
that I lead my life again, that I live my life again.

I’m always tryna take my mind on a journey,

Swerving on this path that’s apparently less taken,
Burning in the sun, sacrificing like a pagan,
Speaking like the sages with scriptures on my pages,

From the earth we were birthed and to dirt we shall go,
Nothing lasts forever so for now we shall flow.
Woke up this morn decided to swim downstream,
Get lost in the woods, replenish my self esteem,
Glad I did now I see god in everything,
Chin up like Jay Leno but stay humble like Letterman,
Yea, let love in – cause without love I can’t live,
It’s not what I intentionally done but what I unintentionally did,
So I seek a peace of mind and
Under the stars I learn to accept what I am – flawed,
But they say as long as you live, try to mirror god, and do good like She did,
But at times we forgot, the Beelzebub’s in the mix,
He’s a single thought, that won’t exist if you persist,
Now all I can hear is my thoughts - crystal,
Sound of the crickets in the dark – peaceful,
I got sunshine in my pocket and I’m singing in the rain,
We can’t blame pain on god, cause god and us are the same.
