Malique & Nukilan - Bukan Mudah

[Chorus - Kelana]
Hampir lelah hampir jatuh diri ini,
Bila separuh semangat tiada di sisi,
Tak mengapa ku tempuhi dugaan,
Bukan mudah berjalan berseorangan.

[Agenda]
Tubuh yang mengah lesu, berkais dan melombong,
Pulang menapak laju dalam langkah yang melonjong,
Yang menegur khabarku, berpaling bukan sombong,
Titikku kini satu senyumkan yang dah melolong,
Kadang terkena pedang bermata dua kurebah,
Sedang terleka pandang permata disengat lebah,
Biarpun lelah, lara takkan gundah dalam lemah,
Ku sedar bukan mudah diludah beransur kebah,
Pecah jari-jemari tekan tubi pensil kayu,
Resah harianku telan ubi berkipas bayu,
Bangkit hadap mentari biar terik ku tak layu,
Berlari kerah lagi selagi ku dirgahayu,
Tiada yang ringan dalam hal yang dititik-beratkan,
Tekanan, perjalanan jadi pengalaman beratkan,
Bermula dari angan bergiat sampai ke tua,
Masih terngiang suara ibu membisik petua.

[Chorus - Kelana]

[Zizi Kirana]
Berjaya melangkah pagar kawat berduri,
Percaya, adakah hidup ini berjuri?
Sentiasa dihakim, dihukum darah sendiri,
Berjasa pun dihakim, dihukum jasa dicuri,
Bersuara lantang ku tiada cara dipertengah,
Berdiri tegak aku nak diendah hingga megah,
Berdiam diri pula dibakar hati disergah,
Menyiram benih cita nak bercambah bukan mudah,
Rujuklah awal akhir sebelum merempuh badai,
Demi yang menanti jangan sekali maruah digadai.

[Chorus - Kelana]

[Malique]
Dengarkan, fikirkan, zikirkan, dikirkan,
Serapah pejuang-ulang sehingga mahkota dijulang,
Dari putih mata, biar putus tunjang, putih tulang,
Walaupun terbuang, dampar dasar cerun curam suram,
Kalau hati bercahaya, pasti temui jalan pulang,
Tukar orientasi, modifikasi modus operandi,
Digantikan cogan, gantikan slogan, hidup lataif nan mati,
Diasahkan taji, kibarkan panji-panji, ingati janji-janji,
Srikandi masih menanti-nanti di menara candi...

Ya, menara candi.
Masih menanti kamu di menara candi

(Chorus: Kelana)

Dibawah pengaruh sayur, tapi bukan sayur brokoli,
Spit dengan random telekinesis kuasa phantom,
Mana pergi kuantum fizik? Oh, mungkin hilang momentum,
Muat turun mixtape tidak perlu yuran,
Kalau kami penjenayah, tunjukkan waran amaran,
Vandalisme kata-kata hanya mainkan peranan,
Golongan dewa-dewa jadi aku bagi firman,
Di masa akan datang, aku kekal kill,
Kamu dalam kain kapan diam-diam jadi fosil,

[Fahmie Freakmie]
Aku datang aku muncul, semua jadi panik,
Ramai ingin bersaing, semua aku jentik,
Macam burung berterbangan, semua aku lastik,
Ramai orang hebat, aku paling fantastik
Semua orang bangun, bila aku duduk,
Bila aku berjalan, semua orang tunduk,
Swag aku mengila, dari malam sampai subuh,
Auraku tetap utuh, namaku masih kukuh
Gayaku masa depan, kau masih masa silam,
Dadaku berisi, penuh bakat terpendam,
Caci maki dari kamu, semua aku sangka,
lSemua akan mati, tapi kau paling awal,

[Rash The Warchild]

Thaipusam Festival

Thaipusam celebrates the day Goddess Parvati bestowed upon her son the “vel” or lance to vanquish the evil demon, Soorapadam. This lance denotes spiritual insight, ability to differentiate right from wrong, righteousness and steadfastness. However, for many Hindus, Thaipusam has come to mean the birthday of Lord Subramaniam, also known as lord Muruga, the younger son of Lord Shiva.

Hindus celebrate Thaipusam on the tenth month of their calendar. It coincides with the full moon at the end of January and beginning of February 'Thai' is the Hindu month which falls between January 15 to February 15 and 'Pusam' refers to a star which is at its brightest during the period of this festival. In other words, in year 2011 the festival falls on January 20.

Celebrated in all parts of the world where there is a concentration of South Indians, the manifestation of the festival is best witnessed in Malaysia at Batu Caves (which is 10km from Kuala Lumpur) and Penang. The festivities cantered at Batu Caves is an exciting and thrilling spectacle.

Surfing Etiquette In The Water

Greetings.

Does anyone loves surfing? No! No!. Not that web-surfing you nerdo! :p hehehe.. The real meaning of surfing. Well, since my hometown is just nearby the beaches, I also got 'exposed' with various beach activities. I'm not a surfer but I do know a few surfers, and even my cousin is a surfer.

Today I found a good basic info about surfing etiquette on a blog and I like to share with you guys as listed below:

  • If you are a beginner, stay at the lower section of the spot.
  • Surfers dropping in - this really pissed everyone off. Don't ever do this as this is very dangerous!
  • If you are not a strong paddler, paddle far out! Don't paddle direct to the point as you might be in the way of the surfers that is ridding the waves.
  • Don't throw your board if a waves rolls on you. Your board might hit another surfer nearby.
  • Pay RESPECT to local surfers! No matter how good or bad is your surfing skills, you can always afford a smile or a nod whenever you see a surfers.
  • Know your surfing rules before you start surfing! Get a surf lessons!
  • GUYS or GIRLS, get the right board! Don't listen to your friends if his surfing level is average only. Longboard is heavy and big to carry but for a beginner that is the best bet. You will have fun ridding the waves with it.
  • We are very happy to introduce surfing and seeing surfing in Malaysia move to the next level. We are proud to share the waves but again, please learn your way up.
To read more, logon to Surfing Malaysia blogspot. You will get a very useful info and tips from them.

'Nuff said~

Broga Hill

Broga is a small town that sits on the border of Selangor and Negri Sembilan in Malaysia. Broga takes its name from the River Broga which runs through the area. The name Broga is believed to be derived from Buragas, a mythical beast that lives in the forest. Broga was mentioned by Freddie Spencer Chapman in his book, The Jungle is Neutral, to be a location where British-backed rebels fought against the Japanese during World War II.

Bukit Broga, or Broga Hill, is located in Semenyih, 50 kilometres (31 mi) from Kuala Lumpur and approximately 33 kilometres (21 mi) from Seremban, the capital of Negri Sembilan (which is about 40 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur, and 5 minutes drive from the University of Nottingham). You may refer to the University of Nottingham map in order to get to Bukit Broga.

Its real name is Bukit Lalang, refering to the thin and long species of local grass that grows abundantly on this hill. It can be reached a short distance after the University of Nottingham, where the entrance trail starts from an oil palm estate facing a rabbit park across the road.

Bukit Broga is simply prefer for its tranquility and greenness. Since the altitude of the hill is only 500ft above sea level, Bukit Broga’s trek wasn’t tough to hike and it takes roughly 30 minutes to reach the first lookout point. There are about 3-4 of them, each with slightly different view and the further you go, the higher it is, obviously.

Mosquito is a nuisance there, so it’s good to be prepared with insect repellant. Although the hike is short, you may be surprised with the amazing view, which looks as if you are quite high above sea level.

Sarawak Laksa

Laksa is a popular spicy noodle soup from the Peranakan culture, which is a merger of Chinese and Malay elements found in Malaysia and Singapore, and to a lesser extent Indonesia. The origin of the name "laksa" is unclear. One theory traces it back to Hindi/Persian lakhshah, referring to a type of vermicelli. It has also been suggested that "laksa" may derive from the Chinese word "la sha" (辣沙; pronounced "latsa" in Cantonese), meaning "spicy sand" due to the ground dried prawns which gives a sandy or gritty texture to the sauce. The last theory is that the name comes from the similar sounding word "dirty" in Hokkien due to its appearance.
Left : The noodles (rice vermicelli)    Right : Red curry-like soup (does not use curry)

Sarawak laksa (Malay: Laksa Sarawak) is one of the various kind of laksa, that comes from the town of Kuching in the Malaysian state Sarawak (on the island of Borneo). It is actually very different from the curry laksa as the soup contains no curry at all.

Left : Omelette strips, chicken strips and limes    Right from top : Sambal belacan, prawn strips and bean sprouts

It has a base of sambal belacan, sour tamarind, garlic, galangal, lemon grass and coconut milk, topped with omelette strips, chicken strips, prawns, fresh coriander and optionally lime. Ingredients such as bean sprouts, (sliced) fried tofu or other seafood are not traditional but are sometimes added.

Delicious original Laksa Sarawak

Perhaps, you should try at least once if you're a food lover or enjoy eating laksa.

Vamos comer.

You can find more info about laksa at Wikipedia.
You too can look for the recipe at My Resipi.

Bungee Jumping

Adrenaline junkies and extreme sports enthusiasts will have an added thrill for Malaysia’s first permanent bungee jump attraction at Sunway Lagoon. Jumpers will get to experience the thrilling free-fall from a towering 22m above the water, which is equivalent to the height of an eight- to nine-storey building.
BUNGEE JUMPING! This is a sport to test your guts if you’re a person who dares to do anything. It’s not for frail hearted people.
Actually, what is bungee jumping? According to Wikipedia, Bungee jumping (also spelled "Bungy" jumping) is an activity that involves jumping from a tall structure while connected to a large elastic cord. The tall structure is usually a fixed object, such as a building, bridge or crane; but it is also possible to jump from a movable object, such as a hot-air-balloon or helicopter, that has the ability to hover above the ground. The thrill comes as much from the free-falling as from the rebounds. When the person jumps, the cord stretches and the jumper flies upwards again as the cord snaps back, and continues to oscillate up and down until all the energy is dissipated.
Reverse bungee jumping and tandem bungee are the other jumping types. Always select the best bungee jumping provider and check the license and safety measures to have a thrilling and safe holiday. All people should try bungee jumping minimum once in life time as it is very exciting and thrilling.
