Quotes of the Day
Grammar is important. Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse & helping your uncle jack off a horse.

Malaysia Day
Malaysia Day is held on September 16 every year to commemorate the establishment of the Malaysian federation on the same date in 1963. It marked the joining together of Malaya, North Borneo, Sarawak, and Singapore to form Malaysia.
The formation of the new federation was planned to occur on June 1, 1963, but was later postponed to August 31, 1963, in order to coincide with the sixth Hari Merdeka. Several issues related to the Indonesian and the Filipino objection to the formation of Malaysia delayed the declaration to September 16 of the same year. The postponement was also done to allow the United Nations team time to conduct referendums in North Borneo (now Sabah) and Sarawak regarding the two states participation in a new federation.
The formation of Malaysia was made possible through the introduction of the Malaysia Bill to the Malayan Parliament on July 9, 1963, and consent from the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on August 29, 1963.
Prior to the formation of Malaysia, Singapore and North Borneo unilaterally declared independence from the United Kingdom on August 31, 1963, thus coinciding with the sixth anniversary of the Malayan independence.
Beginning year 2010, September 16 is a federal public holiday.

Chun Buri Seafood & Tomyam Restaurant
Restoran Chun Buri Seafood & Tomyam – the name’s a bit weird but wise man says “Don’t judge a book by its cover”. Located in Bandar Sunway Damansara, this restaurant is maybe the best tom yam maker in Damansara.
Give it a try on their tom yam. Various option of chicken, meat, seafood, and more; even they had Tom Yam Kepala Ikan (Fish Head Tom Yam) in the list! Or perhaps get their signature food, Tom Yam Poktek. It’s a white-colour tom yam with seafood ingredients such as squid, prawn, chicken, crab, mushroom and vegetables mixed in one pot and have the original taste of sour, hot and spicy.
Their Nasi Goreng Ikan Masin (Salted Fish Fried Rice) and Nasi Goreng USA (USA Fried Rice) are good too as it’s not so oily. If this still not enough, request for delicious Kerabu Mangga and spicy Sambal Belacan. It will make you craving for more. They also have Bubur Nasi Berlauk (Porridge) for those who like to try something different.
Apart from that, they also offering various types of fish, prawn, squid, crab, and many more with different cooking style. Siakap 3 Rasa anyone? Or maybe Sotong Goreng Tepung? Go there and give it a try. The prices are reasonable as you will satisfy with what you’ll have there.
Those who are looking for Chun Buri Restaurant, if coming from IKEA / The Curve, go down into new shop lot area next to Giant Supermarket Bandar Damansara. The landmark is just nearby Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa, and same row with Café 1 Kopitiam.
Bon appetite!
